The first Democratic Presidential Debate is our opportunity to let the candidates–and the world–know that Floridians demand bold plans and real solutions from all candidates.

Climate change is a fundamental threat to our people, our economy, and our very way of life. We’re already facing extreme heat, more frequent flooding, and more intense hurricanes and natural disasters.

Climate must become a central pillar on the platform of any serious presidential candidate. We are running out of time. Crucial decisions on the watch of the next President will make or break our ability to survive on this planet, and whether or not Florida remains the place we know and love.
