Two of our neighbors have been pronounced dead in the last 24 hours. As of May 17th, 2020, there have been a total of 561 deaths due to coronavirus across Miami-Dade County. May those who have fallen to the pandemic rest in peace.

Miami-Dade’s highly anticipated reopening begins Monday as approved by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, however some cities are saying no. Miami, Hialeah, Miami Gardens, and Miami beach are waiting a couple extra days. Nonessential retail will open Wednesday and restaurants an extra week later. This extended time is meant to allow operators ample time to make necessary adjustments to their businesses.
