Miami-Dade County Public Schools has again partnered with artist Xavier Cortada in presenting Native Flags, an eco-project that consisted of planting a native tree sapling alongside a green flag at every school. Other presenting partners include the Florida International University College of Architecture + The Arts (where Cortada serves as Artist-in-Residence), the Deering Estate at Cutler and the Miami Museum of Science.
