50th Anniversary Poster Unveiling: Key Biscayne Rotary Art Festival

The Rotary Club of Key Biscayne proudly announces the 50th year of the Key Biscayne Rotary Art Festival. In honor of the celebration, a poster has been created by Florida beloved eco-artist, Xavier Cortada. The original art work, entitled “Flor”, will be installed as a digital tapestry in the Community Center in honor of the 50th anniversary and dedicated to the memory of former Rotarian and community leader and volunteer, Bonnie Cooper.

Unveiling Reception
The Rotary Club of Key Biscayne proudly announces the 50th year of the Key Biscayne Rotary Art Festival. In honor of the celebration, a poster has been created by Florida beloved eco-artist, Xavier Cortada.
The unveiling reception will take place Friday, March 14th in the 2nd Floor lobby of the Key Biscayne Community Center, from 5pm to 7pm. The original art work, entitled “Flor”, will be installed as a digital tapestry in the Community Center in honor of the 50th anniversary and dedicated to the memory of former Rotarian and community leader and volunteer, Bonnie Cooper. The Poster will be available at the Reception for purchase with funds going to support the Festival’s mission.

The artist created the work to commemorate the 500th anniversary of Juan Ponce de Leon landing in our peninsula and naming it “La Florida” –from “flor,” the Spanish word for flower.
