“I aim to create vertical gardens inside the library comprised not of plants we want to grow, but of those we want to kill.”
The work will be exhibited during Spring 2011 at Miami-Dade Public Library System’s Main Gallery.
To participate in this collaborative eco-art project locally, please contact Urban Paradise Guild’s Sam Van Leer who is serving as the project’s coordinator.
Using exotic invasive plants from East-Central Alabama, Hanging Gardens is also being implemented as the final assignment (download PDF) in Professor Christopher McNulty’s combined intermediate-level and advanced-level sculpture class at Auburn University.
