Twenty-two of our neighbors have been pronounced dead in the last 24 hours. As of May 26th, 2020, there have been a total of 655 deaths due to coronavirus across Miami-Dade County. May those who have fallen to the pandemic rest in peace.

Today’s coronavirus headlines highlight the ways in which businesses and organizations plan to reopen and adapt the pandemic. The Hard Rock Stadium, for example, plans to open a drive-in and open-air theater to show classic movies and Miami Dolphins content for fans. It will accommodate up to 230 cars and an online ordering and payment system for food and drink which will be delivered to patrons.

Gyms are also reopening in Broward County at 50% capacity and Zoo Miami plans to reopen June 1st with restrictions like masks and face coverings for visitors 2 and older, one-way only directional floor decals in exhibits, indoor buildings open at half normal capacity, and only pre-purchased tickets available beforehand with a maximum of 10 tickets per party.
