“Littoral Creatures” is a touring art exhibit by Xavier Cortada inaugurated in September 2014 at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas Biscayne Nature Center Gallery, Key Biscayne, FL. At that event, Cortada unveiled the poster of the “Seahorse|Seagrass” painting he created to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Biscayne Bay Aquatic Preserves. Exhibit-goers received a copy of the poster along with information on how to join Cortada in celebrating forty years of protecting the preserves.
