Underwater HOA: Emerging Climate Trends and Predictions

Dear Friend,

I’d like to invite you to the Underwater Homeowners Association’s virtual monthly meeting this Wednesday, June 3rd at 7pm.

This month’s topic is “Emerging Climate Trends and Predictions,” and will feature a presentation by Dr. Ben Kirtman, a world-renowned climate scientist and Professor of Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Miami’s Rosenstiel School for Marine and Atmospheric Science.

Dr. Kirtman will answer questions as we continue to discuss how to adapt to a changing climate and future that will make Miami and coastal cities around the world increasingly vulnerable. We will also invite you to participate in one of two Underwater HOA subcommittee workshops: Pinecrest UHOA or Engagement & Programming.

Your participation is the key to finding solutions that will help us address climate change and sea level rise as a community of engaged and concerned citizens.

To receive the virtual meeting access link, please RSVP for the meeting. The meeting will be recorded and later made available on the meeting’s webpage to watch and share.

Thank you, and we’re looking forward to seeing you on Wednesday. Stay engaged, stay involved, and let’s make the future impact of sea level rise something impossible to ignore!

Sincerely,

Xavier Cortada
