Shit Show is a collaborative art making platform Miami artist Xavier Cortada has developed in partnership with Miami Waterkeeper and the Marjory Stoneman Douglas Biscayne Nature Center to engage South Florida community members in addressing environmental degradation of their beaches. Specifically, the artist is inviting participants to develop artistic interventions to advocate for more water monitoring and demand solutions to the water crisis. To learn more, click here
In Search of the Higgs Boson
On September 13, 2018, Xavier Cortada opened an exhibition of his famed banners, which depict the five experiments used to make the Nobel prize-winning discovery of the Higgs boson particle.
