Art Challenge: During a recent art presentation with three local mayors, Cortada offered a friendly challenge to the voters of Pinecrest, Palmetto Bay & Cutler Bay: The municipality with the largest percentage of “NO votes on Amendment 1” would chose a free Solar Art piece by the artist. “Utilities crafted Amendment 1 to deceive voters,” said Cortada. “If you want solar energy to grow in the Sunshine State, you must VOTE NO on Amendment 1.
