Xavier Cortada will participate in Urban Arts, an exhibit in Coconut Grove’s Kroma Gallery (Miami, FL) curated by Carl Juste and Marie Vickles. He will be exhibiting his lauded 1996 painting, “Guanatanameros.” Urban Arts is the combination of Iris PhotoCollective’s four major exhibitions – iWitness, Shades of Black, Havana and Haiti: Two Cultures, One Community, and Big Pictures for a single exhibition that seeks to examine the reality and the impact of our global urban landscapes.
