DESCRIPTION:Plan(T) Home | About | Schools | Libraries | Farmer’s Market | Frost Science | Lincoln Road | Science Advisors | Press | Events\n  \nJoin us for our very first Plan(T) Library Presentation on Friday\, September 27 at the Pinecrest Branch Library from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. \nFounder\, Xavier Cortada\, will be addressing the issue of climate change and how Plan(T) will combat its negative impacts on the South Florida community\, like sea-level-rise and saltwater intrusion. \nPlan(T) aims to expand South Florida’s mangrove forest by asking residents to plant mangrove propagules\, or seedlings\, in their own backyards. It is a project that involves the whole community and a project that saves the whole community. \nMangrove propagules will be given to each attendee\, along with a customizable elevation-marked flag. \nThe Pinecrest Library Presentation is the first of fifty presentations that will be held throughout South Florida this year.
