Honoring Florida History through Art and Nature Presented by: Xavier Cortada, Director and artist-in-residence of FIU College of Architecture & the Arts Miami artist, Xavier Cortada, created “FLOR500″ a participatory art, nature and history project, to commemorate Florida’s quincentenary in 2013. The project marks the importance of the movement when the history of Florida changed forever and it gives a glimpse of what its landscape was like 500 years ago. RSVP Deadline: 12/30/13
