Join us on Friday, Nov. 1 at the University of Miami for the Initiative on Migration, Global Change and Policy – 2019 Symposium in the Donna E. Shalala Center from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. to hear Xavier Cortada speak as a Climate Migration discussion leader.

Cortada will be focusing on how art can help the community converse and engage with the problems and underlying effects of climate migration, a growing problem in Miami due to rising sea levels and the increase in building inland instead of coastal areas.
