Hispanic Heritage Month: Dedication of Cortada exhibit in Hialeah library

To celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, Cortada will discuss his works at a presentation during the dedication of his long-term exhibit at the JFK Library in Hialeah, FL.

 

Thursday, October 15, 6pm

“Welcome Medusa: Confronting the challenges of acculturation” by Xavier Cortada and dedication of newly installed long-term exhibit at JFK Library of early works on Greek mythology and Cuban identity. Cortada serves as Artist-in-Residence for Florida International University’s College of Arts & Sciences School of Environment, Arts and Society and the FIU College of Architecture + The Arts.
