FIU Department of Biological Sciences’ Plant Talk “Participatory Eco-Art Projects–Cultivating an Engaged Citizenry” Xavier Cortada, Artist-in-Residence, FIU College of Architecture + The Arts, will present “Participatory Eco-Art Projects: Cultivating an Engaged Citizenry” during FIU’s monthly “Plant Talk.” Cortada will discuss his multi-year work with The Reclamation Project (www.reclamationproject.net) and Native Flags (www.nativeflags.net) and Flor500 (www.flor500.com).
