Convening Culture Conference at Vero Beach Museum of Art

Citizens for Florida Arts, Inc. proudly presentsConvening Culture 2014: Connecting the Arts with Environmental Conservation. This statewide cultural conference will provide opportunities for meaningful professional development for Florida artists and individuals involved in Florida’s cultural organizations. The conference will also offer specific opportunities for participants to learn about the potential long term collaborations and crossover between arts programming and environmental conservation. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about these two areas from nationally recognized leaders in addition to having opportunities to network and learn from one another in the inspiring setting of the Vero Beach Museum of Art.  For more information visit  http://www.florida-arts.org/conveningculture/

Dr. David Spangler, Director of Interdiciplinary Arts at NOVA Southeastern University, Director of Education at Fort Lauderdale Museum of Art, founder of Lovewell Institute, Janeen Mason, Author/Illustrator representing Solidarity Art to Save Our Rivers, and Xavier Cortada, Florida International University, College of Architecture and the Arts, at Convening Culture 2014 on Wednesday, January 30th, 2014, in Vero Beach, Florida.
