Collaborative Art & The Global Climate Crisis

“The Waterkeeper Alliance conference is the most influential gathering of clean water advocates around
the world. Every two years, we bring together hundreds of dedicated, passionate individuals to learn,
share, network, and celebrate. At this inspirational four-day event, we will emphasize the power of
citizen action, empower leaders to reclaim their polluted waterways, and focus on the challenges of
climate change, specifically sea-level rise.

Waterkeeper experts and other professionals are developing more than 30 educational trainings and
workshops that will provide tools and strategies to address the global water crisis. Topics will include
clean water enforcement, organizational development, media and communications, public engagement,
management and fundraising, restoration, climate change adaptation, diversity, and environmental
justice.

Your experience and knowledge as an artist focused on social engagement and environment concerns
will provide our audience with a unique perspective of how visual and participatory art can generate
awareness about global climate change. We would be honored to have you inspire our international
