FIU College of Architecture + The Arts Artist-in-Residence Xavier Cortada gave a lecture titled “Art as a Method of Social Engagement” for the   – Creative Expression in a Global Society  course (IDS 3336) at FIU.  The course is being co-taught by  Prof. Steven Schoen from the Communication Arts Department and Stephanie Chancy from the Art + Art History Deparment.  After Cortada’s lecture, Schoen and Chancy will present the Creative Engagement project as a class assignment.
