Artist Xavier Cortada invited all Little Havana residents to join him and his University of Miami research team for a Climate Town Hall focused on preparing the community for a future with rising seas. The event included a panel discussion and Q&A with Katharine Mach, climate change scientist at UM’s Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science, Jessica Owley, environmental law professor at UM’s School of Law, Nkosi Muse, Ph.D. candidate at UM’s Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science, and Adam Roberti, executive director of the Xavier Cortada Foundation.
