  The Miami Climate Alliance works for equity and resilience by activating community through strategic action, increasing understanding of climate change as a threat to all forms of justice, and building urgency around our shared community well-being.

  Miami Waterkeeper’s mission is to ensure swimmable, drinkable, fishable water for all.
• Everglades Foundation
  The Everglades Foundation works to restore and protect America’s Everglades through science, advocacy & education. 
• Catalyst Miami
  Catalyst Miami builds powerful, grassroots networks of civically engaged individuals and organizations to achieve community-identified priorities.

  Engage Miami builds equity and power through voter engagement, civic education, leadership development, and organizing around our issue platform, the Young People’s Policy Priorities.

  Fairchild’s Connect to Protect Network is a citizen science program that enlists South Florida residents to plant native plants in order to connect the few remaining isolated fragments of pine rockland— our globally critically imperiled ecosystem.

  Seaworthy Collective is a startup community and venture studio empowering entrepreneurs and investors in ocean and climate impact.
• Citizens Climate Lobby
  Citizens’ Climate Lobby is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, grassroots advocacy organization empowering people to experience breakthroughs exercising their personal and political power.
• Miami Workers Center
  The Miami Workers Center is a frontline strategy and action center building the power and self-determination of oppressed people in South Florida by amplifying the demands and developing the leadership of Black and brown women workers, tenants, and families.
• Miami Homes for All
  Since 1985, Miami Homes For All has worked to end and prevent homelessness in Miami-Dade County.
• SMASH Miami
  SMASH’s Mission is the creation of a Community Land Trust that will adequately address the needs of inner-city Miami residents affected by the symptoms of gentrification (slumlords, rising rents, lack of community control), and that is shaped, developed and implemented by those same residents.
• Green Haven Project
  The Green Haven Project is a nonprofit organization with a focus on creating community gardens and sustainable ecosystems in areas that are predominantly known as food deserts.
• Urban Oasis Project
  At the Urban Oasis Project, we believe that good, clean, healthy food should be accessible to all – so we run Farmers Markets, we plant gardens with low-income families, and we support many local farms by bringing their produce to markets.
• Health in the Hood
  At Health in the Hood, we connect families to wellness through urban farming, free produce distribution and nutrition guidance and other community engagement programs.

  Serving our community since 1958, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Miami is the premier nonprofit mentoring organization in South Florida. We champion hope, transformation, and social good, defending the potential of children who most need it.
• Citizens for a Better South Florida
  Citizens for a Better South Florida is dedicated to providing environmental education, particularly to the underserved community, which inspires active stewardship and the preservation of the South Florida environment.
• Urban Paradise Guild
  The Urban Paradise Guild was founded to bring natural habitat back to the places where we live. UPG has multiple volunteer opportunities per week.

  NAMI Miami-Dade County serves residents across our counties with free mental health support, online groups, resources and education.
