On November 2nd, 2021, a few hours after Cortada completed his performance, more than 100 world leaders representing 85% of the world’s forests met down that corridor and committed to ending and reversing deforestation and land degradation by 2030. It was the first substantial deal announced at the COP26 climate talks in Glasgow.
