“Moving Water” Video

University of Florida engineering and art students joined artist Xavier Cortada July 30, 2014, in a dedication ceremony for “Moving Water,” a mural that commemorates the Panama Canal centennial. The mural is the culmination of a project Cortada conducted with several UF classes to explore how Florida, like Panama, has been transformed over the last 100 years by human impact on water resources. The University of Florida celebrated the Panama Canal centennial with multiple events Aug. 15-17, 2014 and a series of exhibits across campus.
