Flower Force for Schools

Schools can be powerful allies in Flower Force! By creating wildflower gardens on school grounds, students and teachers support pollinators and learn about the natural and cultural history of their region.

In partnership with the Florida Wildflower Foundation, Flower Force invites schools to join the movement by planting a garden dedicated to one of 500 important figures who shaped Florida’s history. Each school that participates receives a ceramic wildflower as a symbol of its commitment to conservation and education, which can be displayed as part of the garden. Let’s grow a new generation of eco-champions who understand the value of nature and history!

How to participate

Schools or students interested in joining can contact the Florida Wildflower Foundation to learn more and receive resources for how to start their Flower Force garden.

The Florida Wildflower Foundation protects, connects and expands native wildflower habitats through education, research, planting and conservation.
