  • Longitudinal Installation” – Presenting the issues of climate change through the lens of a global community (sponsored by the New York Foundation for the Arts, North Pole).
  • Endangered World” – Addressing global biodiversity loss with worldwide installations and eco-actions (sponsored by the New York Foundation for the Arts, North Pole).
  • The Markers” – Marking the mere 50-year history of human presence at the South Pole with chronological flags stretching across the frozen land (sponsored by the National Science Foundation Antarctic Artists and Writers fellowship program, McMurdo Dry Valleys, Antarctica).
  • 150,000 Year Journey” – Setting a “seedling” on a 150,000 year journey through the Antarctic towards the seashore where it can eventually (theoretically) set its roots (sponsored by the National Science Foundation Antarctic Artists and Writers fellowship program, McMurdo Dry Valleys, Antarctica).
  • Homage to Shackleton” – Memorializing Sir Ernest Schackleton at the South Pole, who came within 97 miles of being the first to reach the Pole (sponsored by the National Science Foundation Antarctic Artists and Writers fellowship program, McMurdo Dry Valleys, Antarctica).
  • Antarctic Ice Paintings” – Using sea ice and sediment samples provided by Antarctic scientists to create ice paintings (sponsored by the National Science Foundation Antarctic Artists and Writers fellowship program, McMurdo Dry Valleys, Antarctica).
