Creation of the Hershey's Mural Project

On Thursday, August 16th, 2001. at 10:30 a.m., Miami artist Xavier Cortada was joined by children from Casa Grande and the Miami Art Museum Summer Arts Program to create a collaborative mural to benefit the Children’s Miracle Network and the Miami Children’s Hospital. The project was sponsored by Hershey’s and took place during the Hispanic market launch of the Hershey’s Kissmobile

On Monday, October 15th, 2001. at 10:30 a.m., Miami artist Xavier Cortada was joined by representatives from Hersheys to unveil the Hershey’s Mural before patients and representatives of the Miami Children’s Hospital.
