The Wadden Zee (Wadden Sea),” located in the North of the Netherlands, is the world’s largest tidal area.
Due to climate change the Wadden Zee’s many sandbars and salt marshes are at risk of permanently disappearing into the rising sea. The Wadden Zee is drowning, threatening to destroy a unique habitat that is home base for millions of migratory birds. “
