Xavier Cortada

Cortada is a renowned American artist residing in Miami, Florida. His work has been exhibited in museums and galleries across America, Europe and Africa. He has a very impressive list of clients and has been commissioned to create work for the White House, the World Bank, the Florida Supreme Court and the Miami Art Museum, to name but a few. Cortada’s paintings are often environmentally-orientated and he won the Milennium International Volunteer Award for his efforts.

Project Seahorse is a marine conservation group dedicated to securing a world where marine ecosystems are healthy and well-managed. Their Seahorses: Magical Creatures in Our Backyard initiative aims to build awareness about seahorses and other syngnathids in Biscayne National Park and inspire residents of Miami-Dade County to take action to protect the park and their oceans.
